There was/is a person named the real rugby manager, or something like that, with the picture of the game icon as their photo, nothing said or done by anyone because nobody thought they were the real rugby manager. If it was something else so be it, but the optics appear to be caer spoke so caer was banned. The name was non offensive, not confusing to anyone and all in good fun (or it seemed that way to me). Rapid bans for small stuff (all I saw was not giving respect to carshalton which should not result in a ban in and of itself) is what killed this community once, we almost have it alive again so please don't kill it again.

As I've said, a ban on a member will not be discussed with third parties, it's entirely inappropriate; the reasons for a ban on another member are nothing to do with anyone else. I will say that it was absolutely nothing to do with anything said to Carshalton or any other mod, though, and I have already said it's nothing to do with the username. That is where discussion of the ban has to end, I'm afraid.
As to what was killing the community, it was some appalling behaviour from a handful of repeat offenders that drove many members away. A return to that will not be tolerated, but equally there is no intention not to allow everyone to participate and have fun.

Waspy, as I said in the post that you quoted, 'if it was something else so be it.' Out of curiosity, do you all have access to stats on post activity. If you do have access I encourage you to look at when the community was thriving and when it died. I believe facts should be used more than assumptions. But let's close this thread, agree to disagree on that topic and not go down a road that will lead to another death.

Oh, and bans also aren't discussed with first parties as I still have never been given a rationale for a completely unjustified 30 day ban, would love communication on it, have asked for it, and have not received it.

Mate, the game doesn't reflect real game, if you play a team that is 55% energy, and your team 100% energy, simple fact, you should beat them as their players will be knacked. Sadly this game doesn't reflect that, a team can be at half energy and still trash another team higher than them and at 100% energy. Nothing to do with Strats mate. Simple fact. The game isn't set up to reward players who improve their teams, training their players, and ensure that at game time, they are 100% energy. When these guys wise up to that fact then maybe we will stop seeing these stupid results. I have played Guild members in friendlies to test things, and both on same strat, same energy, and we get stupid results home and away. That shows things are not right !!

I sometimes beat guys up to 18 levels higher than me, and it's not because the game is broken. It's because their strategies are terrible and I happen to have a pretty decent one. There are also other guys only 2 or 3 levels above me who I struggle to beat. I have found the game to be very consistent lately so I wouldn't be so quick to blame the game. Maybe you need to start by looking at your strategy bud.

Sorry, but that's just nonsense. Energy levels count particularly towards the end of a game now, which is more realistic IMHO, and if anything, the game much more effectively reflects strats and stats now than it ever used to.

Ian, there are two of you who routinely complain about being beat by horrible teams. We have tried to help as much as we can. Since you can't take a hint I will it a little more blunt.
