The game keeps flickering on and off when I log on. Does not happen in other games or multimedia content. Google Chrome browser on linux.

The game uses Flash with hardware graphic acceleration.
Make sure the Pepper Flash plugin is up to date, check your GPU driver too.
In Pepper settings, it may be an option to enable/disable hardware acceleration. Maybe it can fix the issue.
