Getting New players

So as my players age and get older and I pay them more. How can I get New young players Say 18-20? I don't want to have to get them in the auction house as sometimes they are payed a lot. Is there a draft or place to go to get players? Also I would drop a few player and add new ones

PS if I do end up getting new guys how can I get rid of the old guys? Is there a limit on how many players one can own?

No limit on how many, just as long as you can afford them. Auction house is the only place to get new ones. If you just want to get rid of them, without seling, click transfer and then dismiss.
