What are my players doing lol

I've noticed that a few times when my players have the ball and they are near the opponents try line they either kick the ball or knock it on even though there are no opponents players within range to tackle mine but they do it anyways lol. Why does this happen?

Kicking tends to happen when you have your drop goal setting high, or there's a player you can't beat and so kick to avoid the tackle. Knocking on is down to your control stat and so are fumbling the ball

Tiredness affects both breaking tackles and control errors, so maybe look at dropping your rhythm until you get the stats up, and drop your kicking and drop goal % in strategy to avoid the kicks

Also, if it's a prop and you are still at lower more social levels they may have had too much beer. But remember, if it weren't for beer us props would rule the world
